How long will the photos take after a shoot to come out?

With all great things, shoots take time.

Whether it is a grand opening event or just a small shoot, the photos I edit usually take some time depending on the client’s needs. A simple shoot with basic editing will differ from a large scale event. Time is very much a consideration and I do my best to get things done.

Small shoots that require small edits usually take an estimated time of one month. Larger shoots may take longer.

If for any unforeseen reason there is a delay, I will let the client know.

Always be sure to let me know what kind of shoot you want to do. This way, I can better help you.

I booked a shoot, but I need to cancel. How do I go about that? Can I get my deposit back?

In life, we all have things that come up. No worries!

If you need to reschedule or cancel, all I require is a 72 hour notice. If on the outside chance an emergency comes up the day of the shoot, just contact me.

Unfortunately, the deposit is non-refundable.

Where can I find my photos? Can I share them online?

For private shoots such as boudoir, events, and pinup, I will create a link for you to see your photos. The password protected link will be up for one month at no charge. But after that, I will take down. If you want to continue to view them, you have the option to do at a small charge.

As for sharing online, of course you can! If you wish to share with your friends the photos you are more than welcome to do so. If you wish to use them for for-profit reasons (Ex. promoting your business, advertising your services, ect.), I have a licensing package for that. All I ask is that you be sure to tell folks where you got your photos; crediting the artist goes a long way!

Where are the raw photos? Can I have them?

Photos like this take hours of hard work to bring out the beauty in them. It’s worth the wait!

I do not release the raw photos to clients. You may preview them for selection for editing, and then when you select the ones you want I will edit them to your specifications.

The reason I do this is to protect my work; your photos deserve the best and while we live in a world of instant gratification, some things are worth the wait.

Can I re-post your photos?

That watermark is there for a reason. Don’t re-post my photos without my expressed permission.

If you with to share my work, that is more than welcome. Just tag my work and link my website. However, I ask that you ask for permission to re-post my photos elsewhere other than my site or social media.

Can I bring a friend with me to the shoot? I want to feel safe/have moral support.

You most certainly can! Your safety is important. Full stop. Any photographer worth their salt will say that and value that.

Doing a shoot alone can be nerve wracking and if you wish to have someone present at the shoot, I am happy to have them there. I often will have folks who tag along help make my subjects feel more at ease, even rope them into helping assist me in the shoot!

I want to use my photos you took to sell as a NFT (Non-fungible Token).

No.

My stance on NFTs is as thus:

I work hard to create the photos I create. The time, energy, and effort I put into the shoots and photos I take are not worth the effect on the environment. I do not, and will not, allow my work to be used as NFTs now or ever.

I find out a client is using my work to create NFTs I will request they cease and desist. If it still happens, I will be forced to pursue legal action.

I do not support NFTs. Full stop. I take this seriously and wish for my clients to respect this. If you disagree, seek business elsewhere.

The same stance will also apply for AI scraping programs such as Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, and other programs used to steal artist’s hard work. I do not support this practice.
